Carter's Baptism

I can't believe my little man Carter has turned 8. This is Russell getting him ready to be baptised in the ocean at SilverKing Lodge. I love the men in my life!

SilverKing felt like Heaven - all those I love

There is Grandpa Call, who confirmed Carter - it was so touching. I loved having all my favorite people there to celebrate this special day with us. Just family and close friends. Uncle Rod presided, I gave the opening prayer, Aunt Jenni & Grandpa Kirk gave talks, Russell baptised him, McKenzie & cousin Kara sang My Heavenly Father Loves Me, Grandma Call gave the closing prayer and Bridget Mattson lead the music.

Far Away

Scrapbooking? Heavens no. However, lately I have been thinking about what a wonderful life I have. I don't want to look back on this time and regret not having recorded any of the amazing memories that are happening. I am married to the love of my life, have four beautiful children and live on an island in Alaska. "Alaska" you say? That's right. It's the place where I NEVER EVER knew I ALWAYS wanted to live. It's the perfect town to raise a family. If anyone has ever heard Ingrid Michaelson's song, "Far Away", it's about my life. Seriously. My favorite song of all time. This blog (combo of journaling/photos) is for my small family, so that they know how much I love and cherish them. I really am the luckiest girl in the world.
